Seems like most men and women are usually talking about pre-flop strategy, so I would like to speak a tiny bit about how I wager on following the flop. Perhaps I can assist others, or possibly they’ve got advice to enhance my play.

Early Place – Tight Opponents:
A semi-bluff works fairly effectively in this position. Are available out wagering and if a tight player didn’t hit a hand he’ll probably lay down, and if he is unsure you may possibly obtain a call. But watch out, if that tight player comes back over the top it may be time to receive away.
Early Placement – Loose Competitors
This can be had been I like to complete a defensive bet. Choose how quite a few chips you’re willing to chance on your draw and bet. It is usually a much smaller bet than normal. It has been my understanding that the loose player will usually just call a wager instead of re-raise. Odds are though even a loose player will go away if you come back strong enough.
Bear in mind although that these are moves I only generate immediately after the flop comes and I have a decent drawing hand (usually not a gutshot either). Perhaps four to the flush or the open ended straight, for example.
