Phil Ivey has been referred to as the greatest poker competitor on the globe by quite a few of the top-ranked pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to NJ before his first birthday. Phil made a decision to take his game to the next level and moved out west to Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Phil credits his achievements to discipline and a continuing love for poker. He says that he’s learning every single day and is quite humble about his success. He knows he makes errors every single session of poker and constantly aspires to improve.

Despite the fact that Phil has won some large tournaments, he favors destroying money games on a regular basis.
